๐Ÿงฎ Edit Calculation Bill

The Edit Bill of Materials window allows you to manage in detail the individual rows that make up a calculation bill of materials. Each row represents a rule applied to one or more columns of the source price list: for example, a percentage increase, a reduction, or a targeted rounding.

Field

Description

From / To

They indicate the range of columns (or price groups) to which the rule applies. You can enter the same value in both fields to act on a single column.

%

Percentage of variation applied. It can be positive or negative.

Sign

Determine if the operation is an increase (+) or a decrease (-).

Rounding

Allows you to set a specific rounding rule for that line (e.g., โ‚ฌ0.05, โ‚ฌ0.10, none).

Description

Text field to document the purpose of the rule (e.g., โ€œIncrease +5% – White Lacquerโ€).

Actions (โ‹ฎ)

Sidebar menu that allows you to edit or delete the selected row.


โž• Adding a New Row

To inser
t a new calculation rule:
1. Click the + New Row button at the top right.
2. Fill
in the required fields:
โ€ข From / To โ†’ range of affected columns
โ€ข % โ†’ percentage of increase or decrease
โ€ข Sign โ†’ + for increase, – for reduction
โ€ข Rounding โ†’ if necessary
โ€ข Description โ†’ free text
3. Save the changes: the new row will appear in the table and will be applied in the next price list calculation.

โ‹ฎ icon to edit or delete a specific row.
โ€ข Changes are saved immediately and remain active until a new revision.
โ€ข You can reorder or duplicate rows to speed up the creation of similar rules.

oup rows by material type or category (e.g., lacquers, laminates, tops).
โ€ข Keep the Description column clear and readable: it will also be used in calculation logs.
โ€ข Use multiple ranges (e.g., From 200 to 205) to speed up the definition of similar rules.
โ€ข Before calculating the bill of materials, ensure there are no overlapping intervals.
