
✏️ Edit Bill of Materials Line
The Edit Row window allows you to modify a single rule within the calculation sheet. It is useful for correcting, updating, or refining the parameters of a row without altering the entire sheet.
📋 Available fields
Field | Description |
Starting column (From) | Identify the initial column to which the rule applies. It must correspond to a valid column in the source price list. |
End column (H) | Identify the final column of the range. If it coincides with the starting column, the rule will be applied to a single column. |
Sign | Determine the direction of the change: + for increase, – for decrease. |
Percentage | Indicate the percentage variation to apply (numeric value, without % symbol). |
Rounding | Allows you to specify a rounding for the rule (e.g., None, 0.05€, 0.10€, 1.00€). |
Description | Free text field to document the rule (e.g., “Increase +5% – Metal Lacquer”). |
Available Operations
• Save → Confirm and record the changes made to the line.
• Close (×) → Closes the window without making changes.
The changes are immediately applied to the bill of materials and will be used in the next calculation.

Rounding: No rounding
Description: “Increase +5% – Metal Lacquer”
This rule will increase the prices in column 006 of the source price list by 5%, without applying additional rounding.
⚙️ Tips
• Use column codes consistent with those in the price list to avoid calculation errors.
• Always keep the description updated: it is useful for maintenance and automatic logs.
• If you want to apply the same variation to multiple columns, create a row with a range (e.g., From 100 to 105).
• Percentages can also be negative to manage discounts or reductions.
