Price-list Description
The Price-list Description block allows displaying item descriptions from the price list linked to Pricelist Server within WordPress site pages. It is one of the fundamental blocks for building the online price list structure and enables automatic retrieval of product information, such as descriptions, headers, and technical data, through item code or text search.
πΉ ID
The ID section contains all the main configuration parameters of the block.
β’ ID: This is the unique code automatically assigned to the block. It is used to identify it within the page and cannot be manually modified.
β’ Tag: Determines the type of HTML element that will contain the text (e.g., paragraph, header 1, header 2, span, etc.). It allows defining the hierarchy and semantic style of the content.
β’ Font Style: Allows selecting the text style from the available options (Normal or Bold).
β’ Price-list Code: This field links the block to an item in the price list. The code cannot be entered manually but must be selected through a search (magnifying glass icon π). It is possible to search by text (e.g., part of the description) or by neutral code.
β’ Mode: This field is automatically filled after selecting the code and indicates the type of data retrieved. It can take the values:
β’ Article description β if the search identified an article.
β’ Header description β if the search identified a header.
β’ Field Type: Allows selecting the type of field to display, such as βStandard description field,β βTechnical field,β or others, depending on the information available for the product.
πΉ Link
The Link section allows you to make the block clickable, linking it to an internal or external resource.
β’ Type: Defines the type of link to apply. The available options are:
β’ Page β links the block to a site page.
β’ Post β links the block to a WordPress article.
β’ Custom Link β allows you to enter a custom URL.
β’ Linked: Based on the selected type, it allows you to choose the page, post, or web address to associate. This is useful, for example, to link an item code to the corresponding product sheet or a catalog category.
πΉ Phantom
The Phantom section allows you to activate the block’s private mode.
β’ Phantom mode: When active, the block’s content is hidden from unregistered users and remains visible only to those who are logged in. It is particularly useful for managing content intended exclusively for resellers, partners, or internal staff (e.g., reserved prices or technical information).
πΉ Pricelist AI
The Pricelist AI section integrates the block with the price list’s artificial intelligence system, allowing for the generation of dynamic descriptions or customized texts based on the item’s data.
β’ Content: Main field where the prompt is entered, which is the text that guides the automatic content generation. It is possible to use dynamic tags to reference the selected product’s data.
Example of prompt:
β’ The code
β’ Load Saved Prom
β’ Preview: Displays a preview of the final result by replacing the tags with the actual values of the linked product.
β’ Tag: List of available fields for the selected item code (e.g., COD, DIML, DIMP, DES, etc.), usable within the prompt.
β’ Topic: Field dedicated to the reference topic of the prompt (e.g., model, collection, or category). It allows for the generation of more coherent and contextualized texts regarding the displayed product.
Price-list Table
The Price-list Table block allows you to display price list data in a tabular format. Each table can be fully customized: number of rows and columns, cell contents, data loaded from the price list, images, links, free text, descriptions, and much more. It is the ideal block for creating structured price lists, technical tables, product grids, or configurable sheets.
πΉ Table Structure
The table is generated based on the parameters entered in the Table Settings section:
β’ Rows number: number of rows to generate
β’ Columns number: number of columns to generate
β’ Cell style: allows applying a graphic style to the cells (borders, backgrounds, alignments)
When saved, the plugin automatically generates a list of cells with a progressive name:
Cell format:
cell-
Examples:
β’ Row 0 β cell-00, cell-01, cell-02
β’ Row 1 β cell-10, cell-11, cell-12
β’ β¦
β’ Row 5 β cell-50, cell-51, cell-52
Each cell can be configured independently.
πΉ Cell Selection
After generating the table:
1. Open the Cell dropdown menu.
2. Select the cell to configure (e.g., cell-01).
3. Depending on the chosen content type, the sidebar displays different settings.
πΉ Available Content Types
For each cell, you can select the content type through the Cell Type field:
β’ Article description
β’ Article data
β’ Header description
β’ Price
β’ Free text
β’ Image
When a type is selected, the sidebar displays the settings corresponding to the category.
πΈ CELL CONFIGURATION
Below are all the possible configurations based on the selected content.
1. Article description
Displays a description of the linked article.
Available fields:
β’ Article code: select by clicking the magnifying glass and searching:
β’ neutral code
β’ descriptive text of the article
β’ Mode: automatically filled
β’ Field type: select which descriptive field to display (e.g., standard description, technical description, language, etc.).
β’ ROW SPAN / COL SPAN: Allow merging the cell with adjacent ones:
β’ 0 = no merging
β’ 1+ = merging cells vertically or horizontally
π© 2. Article data
Displays product demographic information.
Examples of selectable fields:
β’ article code
β’ dimensions
β’ height, width, depth
β’ extra information
Works like Article description, with search via magnifying glass.
π§ 3. Header description
Displays descriptions belonging to the price list headers.
Fields
β’ Header code: Search using the magnifying glass by selecting a price list header.
β’ Field type: Descriptive field of the header
β’ Link:
β’ Type: select content type (Page, Post, Custom link)
β’ Linked: select the page/post/URL
Useful for making categories or sections clickable.
π₯ 4. Price
Displays a price from the price list.
Available fields
β’ Article code: selectable only through search
β’ Price column: price list column to use
5. Free text
Enter manual text in a cell, it will not be translated.
πͺ 6. Image
Inserts an image into the cell.
Image selection:
β’ The image is selected from the WordPress Media Library.
Image dimensions:
β’ Image auto dimension = ON –> Uses the original dimensions of the image.
β’ Image auto dimension = OFF –> Allows manual definition of:
β’ width
β’ height
β’ unit of measure (px, %, vh, vw, etc.)
Prefix / Suffix:
Allows selection of an image based on the file name with specified suffix or prefix.
Prefix/suffix enable finding variants such as:
β’ AB01.jpg
β’ drawing_AB01.png
β’ AB01_schema.jpeg
Example:
Item code = AB01
Prefix = drawing_
Suffix = (empty)
The plugin will automatically search in the Media Library for a file containing:
drawing_AB01.*
Recursive override:
Used for recursive block (explained in the next module).
If Recursive override is active, the selected image remains unchanged, without being automatically replaced based on the selected item code.
πΉ SAVE
The Save cell button is located within the configuration screen of each individual cell. It is used to save:
β’ the settings of the currently selected cell
β’ the general configuration of the table
β’ the current state of the WordPress page
π It is essential to click βSave cellβ before exiting the selected cell, otherwise the changes made will not be applied.
πΉ PREVIEW
Click on Show Table to view the preview of the table with the generated data.
Price-list Recursive
The Price-list Recursive block allows for the automatic generation of a series of repeated tables, starting from a template created with the Price-list table block and applying it to multiple selected item codes. The result is a sequence of tables identical in structure but with different contents based on the associated code.
Important note: the Recursive block works only on item codes, not on headers.
1. Management of Associations
Opening the panel
Click on Manage Associations to open the code management window.
Adding an association
1. Click Add Association
2. Search for an item code by text or code
3. Click Associate next to the desired code
4. Repeat for all necessary codes
5. Confirm with Save & Close
Order of associations
β’ Each code is inserted with an automatic position (0,1,2,β¦)
β’ You can modify it using Move Up / Move Down
β’ The established order determines the order in which tables are generated in the frontend
2. Template Selection
After saving the associations, choose from the Template menu which table (previously created with Price-list table) should be used for each code. The template is mandatory because:
β’ it defines the structure of the cells
β’ it specifies which fields need to be replaced
β’ it allows the recursive function to know which elements to generate (texts, images, prices, etc.).
3. Image Prefix/Suffix (caution!)
In the Recursive block, you can set:
β’ Image Prefix
β’ Image Suffix
These values are applied to ALL images within the template.
β οΈ Caution
If some cells in the template already have a specific prefix/suffix, adding a prefix/suffix in the recursive might:
β’ duplicate the prefixes/suffixes,
β’ cause the image not to be found.
Practical rule
β’ If all images must have a certain prefix or suffix β set it in the Recursive.
β’ If only some images need it β set it directly in the table (template) and leave Prefix and Suffix empty in the Recursive.
4. How table generation occurs
For each associated code:
1. The system clones the template
2. Automatically replaces cell fields (e.g., code, dimensions, image, description, etc.)
3. Applies prefixes/suffixes to images (if set in Recursive)
4. Displays a sequence of tables on the page, one for each code
Example:
You have selected codes AB01, AB02, AB03
β Three tables will be generated with identical structure but with:
β’ different code
β’ different descriptions
β’ images named AB01 / AB02 / AB03
β’ text content automatically adapted
5. AI Fields
The Recursive does not contain a “content” field: the AI text is located in the template, where it will be written dynamically (e.g., with AI tags like
Only the general topic can be applied.
The Recursive is limited to passing the correct values for each code.
6. Final Output (render)
Upon publication, the block will display:
β’ a table for each code
β’ in the determined order
β’ with data and images correctly replaced
Price-list single price
The Price-list Single Price block allows you to display a single price taken from the price list for a specific item and a chosen price column. It is used, for example, when you want to show the price of a product within a detail page or a product sheet.
βοΈ Block Settings
π Price-list code
Search field that allows you to select the item code only through search.
π You cannot enter it manually.
You can search by:
β’ description text
β’ neutral code
Once a result is selected, the block automatically links to the item.
𧱠Column
Select from which price column to retrieve the value.
π What is it for?
Many companies use multiple columns to manage different prices:
β’ different materials
β’ variants
β’ price ranges
Example:
β’ Column 001 β price in melamine
β’ Column 002 β price in marble
π With this field, you choose exactly which price to display.
π± Currency
The currency symbol:
β’ is determined by the Pricelist Server (e.g., β¬, $, CHFβ¦)
β’ can be enabled or disabled in the WordPress plugin settings (ON/OFF options)
π the block does not directly manage the currency, only the display.
